yea thats what scared me, but OP has same combo...if no rubbing, agree the spindle is the way to go.

It shouldn't really rub with only a 2/4, and if it does, it will prolly just nip the inner fender wells which won't harm anything, it will only rub massively if you go to a bigger/wider tire vs. oem

Appreciate the comments all... The stock 20's indeed did rub slightly after the spindle installation and prior to being aligned.. Unfortunately the new wheel and tire setup DOES rub at full wheel turn even after the alignment... I'm still trying to figure out some options on how to resolve that..

From all my research and calculations, the lower profile 305-40 series tires would have rubbed even more because of less tire height and ultimately more width.. Plus the 305-40 series tires will throw off your speedo by over 3%
