Hey guys first time ever posting on something like this but I figured I would give it a shot. So i have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi magmum 4wd, and I took it to the dealership because it keeps misfiring but never throw a code. The dealership said cylinder 6 only misfires under a load in overdrive. I've been driveing it some time like this now and it never throws a code just keeps acting up misfiring, and it's not all the time in overdrive either just if you give it the right amount of gas is misfires. I'm no mechanic but I have common sense and learn as I go has anyone else ever had a issue like this and fixed it? Thank you for your help!

I think the easiest thing to do would be to pull the spark plugs on that cylinder and see what they look like. As long as you have them out I would at least replace them or maybe just go ahead and replace all 16. Other things to check would be the coil and wires.

so I've done a lot of work to the truck so far an I've already replaced all the spark plugs and coil packs and both ground straps for the motor and had a camera go down into the cylinder to look at it too and everything checks out so I've done all that and I'm still at a loss lol but thank you for your input

Since you've already replaced the plugs and coils, I'm inclined to believe that you have a fuel injector issue. It either has debris or varnish or is simply not pulsing at the correct intervals due to age. This will not allow sufficient flow to enter the cylinder while under heavier loading but may act normal loading.
