So the story is that I found the cylinder 7 coil wire near the plug was chewed by a mouse. I reconnected the wire and solder it but I still have the same problem. I know it could be broken valve spring as well but would find it odd that just so happens that’s the wire that was chewed. Truck has 53k miles and I have not had any issues prior the wire being chewed. I also replaced the plugs and swapped coils from a different cylinder but same cylinder 7 misfire. I’ve heard the coil wires are sensitive and I should cut a section out and replace it with new wire. Anyone have any thoughts on this??? Thanks
