I traded my 2014 Limited for a Durango SRT and have been missing the utility of the pickup ever since. Truck prices have gone through the roof in the two years since. Found a decent deal on a 2016 Limited with the 3.0 diesel...but it is a buyback. It has another 10k on it since the buyback (and no issues). I know many of the early diesels had issues (my sister owned a 14 GC 3.0) but I believe they all got sorted out.

The other thing this truck doesn't have is the Ram Box...which I swore I would never own another without it. My last one had it and I LOVED it!

If it doesn't have the features you want and you don't have to buy today, why not wait until you get what you actually want? Else you'll just be tempted to flip-flop again.

Also agree with the above responses. Don't rush the decision. Get a non-lemon lawed truck with the features you want. I lemon lawed a Ford 6.0 PoSD and I sure feel sorry for anyone who might have bought it from Ford.

As everyone else has said, I'd continue searching for the truck you want. I did the same, I almost compromised and bought an EcoDiesel. I thought I wanted one since I have a diesel Chevy Cruze. After tuning my Cruze it has been great. But I found delete tunes have since basically disappeared. I waited a few more weeks and found my 16 Limited Longhorn. I didn't necessarily need one has optioned as mine but it had the RamBox and was Crew cab 4x4. I mostly just wanted a "nicely optioned" sport package truck. Got lucky and found mine. The only missing option is a LSD. But I'll get a TruTrac ordered for it soon enough.

As said, get what you want and don't purchase a buy back and inherit someone else's problem child. Buy a small utility trailer for now to bridge the gap till you get another pickup.

You have learned a valuable lesson I did years ago. There have only been a few occasions in my life to date that I didn't have a pickup. My first vehicle at 16 was a pickup.

The times I figured I didnt need one, I very quickly regretted it. I don't like having to rely on others for help and hooking up a trailer every time you need something quick at lowes or whatever sucks.

I'm a country hick and I love my pick-em-up trucks! Haha:waytogo:
