I would like to relate a recent experience with moparpartsgiant for those of you considering ordering parts from this company. I attempted to
order a transmission filter kit for my dodge ram, which according to the website picture, included two filters and a gasket. I received one filter. I contacted the company and was informed the other two items were available but individually at a total cost of about $132 plus shipping. There was a small note on the picture indicating a part
number change but no indication the entire kit was no longer available. When I pointed out that a part number does not mean you get less parts and if the kit was no longer available they should have changed the depiction with a note to indicate the kit was no longer available, they staunchly refused. They wanted to charge me a 20 percent restocking fee plus shipping to return the part and would take no responsibility whatsoever for the deceptive advertising. I filed a complaint with my credit card company for a full refund and won the dispute. Be advised this company has a startling 25 percent one star rating, which I should have checked before ordering, and the complaints pretty much involve similar circumstances as my experience. Responses given by moparpartsgiants to these complaints consistently contain a cookie cutter mouthed apology full of superfluous euphemisms that never contain a resolution on their part. These people are dishonest and horrible to deal with if you have a problem due to their disreputable, dishonest, and deceptive business practices. Read the reviews and decide for yourself.

I had problems with them as well. Took over 3 months for a part I returned to get a refund. I lost money for the initial shipping, for the return shipping, and the restocking charge. Never again.

Whenever buying from someone you’ve never bought previously…..it’s not easy to remember this…BUT it’s important to ask UP Front what the “return policy” is….and the shipping responsibilities.

The REASON many co’s prices are lower…is because they don’t share the responsibilities of unsatisfying merch. or it’s shipping and return.

AND…if there’s a “Restocking Fee”…. All THAT means is THEY WILL make their PROFIT REGARDLESS of what the outcome is, and whose fault it might be.

I try never to do business with anyone who has a restocking fee.

I don’t mind taking the shipping risks….after-all, shipping saves me the journey for shopping and purchasing. But I DO NOT PAY “re-stocking fees”.

Never.

(I also never pay “misc shop fees” either. Those are the costs of doing business and any claims it covers “shop supplies’ is merely their admission they have lousy bookkeeping.
When restaurants charge for salt/pepper/napkins…..or ketchup… THAT is when I’ll pay “misc shop fees”.)

That's why I purchase as much as possible through Benny here @AllMoparParts.com .

Prices are reasonable, parts are accurate and OEM. If I have any complaints, it might be shipping costs, but Benny tries to address that, in his responses.

Overall, I try to avoid certain companies. Especially with penalties for returning parts ordered in good faith.

Thanks for the heads up about allmoparparts.com. Autozone or O'Reillys has what appears to be the exact same kit for a little less
money but I thought what I attempted to order would be a better quality part and now I realize it's the same. I have a 2004 Ram 1500
2wd 5.7 and the kit TF98 from autozone worked just fine on a previously owned 2003 so will use that on my current truck as well. If it's of any value to anybody out there I did become aware that when you buy these kits you might want to open the box and take a look at the
length of the pickup tube on the flat filter. For 2wd it should be about 3/4 of an inch or so sticking up from the filter. If it's about 1 1/2 inches
it's for a 4wd pan and won't allow the pan to go back on the 15 bolt 2wd. The longer tube should not be in a box for the 2wd to start with but I have seen comments where this has happened and thought I would pass it along. My transmission is the 545RFE.
