I wondering what things I could do for more torque. I have 99 ram with 360 , I already have shorty headers , free flowing exhaust ,cai ,and superchips flashpaq. I plan on going to 3.90 gears later, just looking for any other ideas also heard about modding the intake and tb.
Thanks

You already mentioned the first thing that came to mind, being gears.

I don't know if you have a 4x or 2x Ram. Depending on tire size, I would recommend at least 4.56s. While it doesn't 'increase torque' it sure uses what you have WAY better.

You can modify the keg (shorten the runners) but that's more a top end HP mod, with potential losses to your low end.

You might also look into a torque converter / shift kit. My old man's '98 5.9 Ram with both seems to have quite a bit of 'snap' off the line. He got a torque converter designed for towing (what he uses the truck for) works pretty awesome.

It's a 4x4 right now just 31s, I thought about 4.10s but someone told me you had to have a bigger chunk for that not sure though, I also heard about cutting out the divider in the tb and intake to make an oval

Exponential increases in low end torque are never cheap. That would include gears, torque converters, nitrous, superchargers, etc.

One of the cheaper mods would be to chenge to a SCT tuner from your superchips. The superchips by design only helps the most in the top end. It "piggybacks" the stock tune.

The SCT replaces your factory program with a complete tune that eliminates torque limiting and increases bottom end torque. It is not a cure all but helps more than manifold mods.

Manifold mods help but only in increments. I'd buy 1.7 rockers 1st.
