Morimoto headlights

Besides all the flaws with these things what does everyone think of the output? Am I the only one who hates it? My gf hates driving the truck cause she says “those headlights suck and I think you know that” I’ve never had to dim my interior lights all the way down to make it easier to see until I put these stupid things on

Seriously... bought from TRS or not, Morimoto should be handling this issue. These headlights have completely destroyed the Morimoto brand name within the Ram community and beyond, the Ford community as well as those are a mess as well.

They have in my book. Will not go near their stuff now, as they obviously do not stand behind their gear. If I'm gonna spend a lot of money on something, I want to know that it has been thoroughly tested, and will be backed by the manufacturer for stuff like this. Normal wear and tear is one thing, but such an obviously known design flaw like this is not acceptable. The company has known about it, and still continues to sell them. I know it's beating a dead horse, but seriously...

Funny, the Facebook fanboys say this is just a tiny blip on Morimoto's radar.

I have not researched the Ford issues, but since the F150 is "God's gift to pickup trucks" you would figure them not buying Morimoto would be a big blip on the radar.

I like the idea of the headlights, just dont like the execution.

BTW I believe there is some link to TRS and Morimoto, like TRS owns the name or something.

Yes morimoto and TRS are technically the same company. I believe TRS is the main and morimoto is a sub company. Similar to FCA being the main and ram/Chrysler/jeep/dodge are sub companies

Whenever you buy anything from TRS it comes with a sticker sheet with a Morimoto, TRS, Profile and LED Concepts stickers.

There’s no point for any of these ram owners that bought them. You should issue everyone a refund. If the email is a fix for the sunburn problem ok. But the light output is horrible. I have diodedynamics led headlight bulbs in my headlights and fog lights. They way out perform your overpriced but somehow cheaply built $1,400 lights. I lost faith in your company your hype and reviews were made to sell a horrible product without real world testing or testing from a third party that has no affiliation with your company. You scammed everyone and now are trying to save your reputation due to the 1,890+ comments on this form about how much of a rip of your headlights are.

Despicable.

Yes, I've asked owners to contact me for a fix...we have an update and are ready to take care of it.

However, filtering out the guys who actually have these headlights from those who have no actual experience with the product (and are flipping out on the sidelines) is proving a a challenge here.

I think you didn’t get stickers in the XB headlight box because the headlights are boxed up in China and shipped to TRS in Atlanta where they then re-ship them in the same box, so no chance to put inserts inside. Whereas when you order parts like projectors, hid kits, led stuff, etc. TRS is putting multiple items into a box or package and then shipping that one box, with everything inside, so they can put stickers, packing slip, etc.

Well, if that's how you see your potential customers who are voicing their opinions here, that tells me all I need to know about TRS. My question is, why did it take such a big fuss on the forums and social media for you guys to take any action? As much as I like the look of your products, this "sideline" shopper will be steering clear because of what seems to be some fishy tactics. Was seriously considering purchasing a set 2 weeks ago. Plenty of other options out there.

I'm really glad that I didn't order my set of headlights from these guys.... just because "EVERYONE" has them especially those SEMA trucks doesn't mean they are the best or quality option out there...

I'm not the one who buys according to name brand.. yes I have Nittos and RBP on my truck but that's because these two companies have superior customer service so far

The fact that it took this long for these guys to react made my decision that much more easier... thank you!
