Sweet. I just seen this thread. Lol. I'll join too. I average about 10,000 miles a year. Been riding since 97.



The stock color was a cobalt blue. I added a Reckless fairing with stereo system and speakers along with some hard bags. I had it painted a metallic silver with a lot of metal flake. It's a urethane based paint. I was going to add a urethane candy blue but it didn't come out as I wanted so I just stuck with the plain silver. I have also had a 97 Honda shadow 1100 ACE, a 99 Kawasaki ZX9R. A 2001 Suzuki DR 650. A 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 800A. And now a 2008 Yamaha Roadstar Silverado 1700.

That's awesome. I work part time at a shop as well. Being a military firefighter I work 24 hours on and 48 hours off, so on my off days I work at a shop. We sale Yamaha, kawasaki and canam. And work on everything. Lol.

We have been so busy doing sales. Especially with canam. The coal mining industry is almost all but closed but people are still buying side by side like crazy. We can't keep Mavericks. And guys are dropping $20,000+ like it's nothing.

I used to be. To old now. Lol. I've ran on talladega and road Atlanta. It was awesome. I ran a 98 ZX9R that was fully modified. Had it on a dyno after all my racing mods were done and it had 196 hp at the rear wheel. Lol. And wet weight without me was right at 328lbs. That's full tank of fuel and all fluids topped off. I had the frame modified and different rims, new bigger ram air intake, exhaust and a crap ton of other mods. Lol.
