Been riding since 1983 and got my wings on a brand new 1982 CB-750F Super Sport Honda which I still own. By 1984 it had been slightly warmed over and was joined by a brand new 83 1100F, which I still own. Many years later i’d pick up a used 81 900F, which awaits restoration. The 1100F was pushed into touring duty in 2006 when co-works asked me to ride with them to the Smokie Mtns on what would be come the annual June Ride. In 1990 I did a resto on a 83 Harley Lowrider FXSB, which I still own. Spring of 2007 saw the purchase of a 98 CBR-1100xx Super Blackbird, my current touring mount. In 2008 during my mid life crisis I purchased a slightly used (4500kms) CBR-1000RR/R Repsol.

Omg those Ducati's are beautiful. The paint on those thing in person is gorgeous... to bad I just cant get behind the noise they make lol

Too me they were more unique sound when they were dry clutch. Now they run wet clutch.

Guess I'm just an old guy. I can appreciate the engineering in the Ducatis, but don't usually care for the looks. On the other hand, the CB 750 and 1100 are GORGEOUS!!. I had a '75 CB550 I picked up cheap and got it running again. Rode it for several years before I got tired of the maintenance required. Had 2 of the later CB750 Nighthawks - one got taken out by a cager not paying attention (big surprise) and the other I passed to my brother.

Got the Spyder on Thursday, and managed to dodge the rain long enough on Saturday to take it for a ride. That's going to be fun when things clear up around here.

My first bike was a '99 CBR600 F4, learned to ride on that then upgraded to a new '06 CBR 1000RR, spent a bunch of money on mods then everyone I rode with either sold their bikes or moved away. No fun riding by yourself and the guys that were left to ride with rode around at 60kph which sucks on a liter bike.

So then I found a '83 V65 Magna which I tore down and restored, for the " slower rides " I then traded the CBR for a '06 750 Shadow which i ride as much as I can. Its practical. I still have the V65 as well, now have it registered as an antique.

My next bike ( once the ram payment goes away ) will likely be a Streetglide.

YEP !!! Been riding since I was 17 and love it... Just gotta stay alert 110% of the time though and ride defensive at ALL TIMES.. First bike was a 300 Honda dream in 1965 . but all Harleys since then..I now have a 2005 Fatboy police special...Love it...

Had to get off two wheels and move to three for the wife. She wasn't comfortable getting on/off the bike anymore.
