When replacing my rear door speakers the other day, when I pulled the pillar trim off of the door, the clips that hold it in and popped off. They fell into the door. I didn't feel like taking the door apart to get them out, so, I swung by the dealer yesterday to pick some up. Apparently, Ram (and probably the rest of Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep) have decided you have to buy the whole trim piece about $52 + tax). I said nope.
I searched the interwebs and found some clips that looked similar. Hard to tell by the pics on some of them. I ordered some for VW/Audi, but, they didn't have the little spikes that dig into the plastic. They do fit snug and may work, but, want to make sure they don't pop off while driving down the road.
I then found some that said they fit Ford, Mazda, Audi and looked close. Got them in this morning. They were slightly different in measurements, but, had the spikes and worked great.
Here are some pics comparing the OEM and the ones I bought. The OEM is on the left and aftermarket on the right. Even with the differences they went on, held tight, and snapped into the door nice and tight.
