Just wanted to post up and say I'll be lurking on here mostly searching old threads and I may have some questions if I run into something. I just purchased my first 2500 truck, a bright white 2017 Power Wagon that I am totally in love with. I've owned several 1500 Ram trucks (4 total, 2 4th gen and 2 5th gen) and loved all of them for different reasons, but I'm really stoked to be in my first "big boy" truck. I'm a Ram truck fan through and through. My first impression is the shear size over the 1500, I suppose the factory lift on the power wagon contributes to that. It almost didn't fit in my garage with the cab lights being just a few inches from my garage door opener. Anyway, just wanted to say hey and introduce myself from central Ky!!

P.S. Any tips I should know off the bat for these trucks?

Nice truck! Just use it as it is and enjoy it!

It can be easy to fall into the trap of replacing everything with all the cool upgrades that are out there. But i decided to just use the truck as it came from the factory and upgrade when needed. Well, 10 years and 130k miles later, its still completely stock other than tires lol. And i mean STOCK, as in original everything…brakes, suspension, wheel bearings, ball joints…EVERYTHING.

Still looks pretty good too

Awesome truck, looks clean and well taken care of!! I really miss my Ramboxes that I had on my first 2012 Ram, very handy feature that got a ton of use. My truck is completely bone stock as well except for tires. It came with a set of LT315/70R17 Kenda Klever AT2's that ride very nice and quiet. I have the itch to add a dual tip MBRP exhaust just for the looks, but don't look forward to the in cab drone. You may have just convinced me to keep it as is! I am going to add the Amp rear bed step. Even at 6'2" I have a hard time climbing into the rear bed area, its super tall. Also ordered some husky liner mud guards for the front and rear just because I have a driveway with potholes that splash up on the truck after every rain. Other than those minor things I'm just gonna drive it! I haul a 21ft Donzi boat and also a utility trailer with small tractor and mower. This truck will be more than enough for my farm work. Look forward to many years of service.

It has been a damn good truck to me. Interior still looks like it did when i bought it brand new. Exterior has its flaws haaaaa. I keep it clean, but i use it. Its been through 10 northern michigan winters now.
