Any one know why I'm getting 11.5 mpg city and 14 freway? I have cold air intake flowmaster 40 and run 89 octane.

There a lot of variables that come into play with mpg.
*weather, outside air temp, weight of vehicle, tire size/width, having a heavy right foot, etc. I get lower mpg than most that post in the forum. My EVIC states my average speed varies from 18-24 mph. My city is a lot of stop and go and my short trips. I run 93 octane with a custom tune and my last tank was 11 mpg, with mostly city driving.

My. 02, check your EVIC (truck computer) so see what your average speed is. If it's 20 mph or less your mpg will be low like mine.

Winter makes a huge difference not sure where you live but that factor changes the fuel available and idle times plus the fuel won't add up as much when cold vs warm which will reduce mileage. Normal.
