I have the HuskyLiner on my Gen4 since it was new, no problems with them even with being driven through a few mucky farm fields over the years.
I've been happy with all the HuskyLiner products included floor mats I've bought from them. Also they were the only one that included paint protectors with the mudflaps to keep them from wearing the paint off the truck.

I've got the Weathertechs, I just picked up a new 2022 and put the Weathertech on. Not that they are any better it is simply because I had the Weathertechs on my 2013 and my 2015 without issues so I just stayed in the Weathertech camp. From what I've read, you can't go wrong with either brand so I would get what costs the least.

The Weathertechs also come with the paint protection film but since the Weathertechs have a very small gap between the mud flap and the flare, I didn't use them. The film actually sticks out about 1/8" past the mud flap and I saw that as a "catch-all" for wax, and debris. It wasn't an issue with the other two trucks.

I purchased the Mopar mud flaps and they are awesome and easy to install. They are rubber so they will bend without cracking like a plastic flap. Just something to consider.

PAPA got it right. I personally have Weathertech on flaps and husky in truck. But if U were concerned ref terrain and such , bendable rubber flaps may be the way to go. None are hard to install.

ADDED: Install Tip: Those stock screws in the fender well area are really poor. I highly suggest you use locktite to attach so they do not work loose. IMHO... (blue locktite)

I went the Weathertech route. Not because I thought they were better, it's just what I picked.

I used Weathertec on this truck. They give decent coverage, very easy to install. I removed all of the screws that hold my factory flares on and Siliconed them before putting them back in. Helps keep them tight and deal the holes against moisture. The one issue with the weathertec is they are stiff. If you back over something tall, you could easily rip them off as they won't bend easily. If I have that problem I will replace them with Factory Mopar Rubber flaps. I also mounted modified Weathertec flaps to the front of the rear well to stop rocks getting thrown forward.

I went with weather tech. I did this because I was ordering floor mats. I don't think you can go wrong with either as you just need something there.

You're right about the rubber Mopar flaps being awesome, but the flaps you installed are for 4th gen sheet metal, and won't fit the OP's 5th gen 1500. The rubber Mopar flaps for 5th gen 1500's are very short, and don't do much to protect the truck. My molded Husky flaps are longer and provide a lot more protection.

I tried the husky ones, and didn't like the way they fit. The gap next to the flare bothered me. I ended up returning them and getting the weathertech.

Overall the quality of both are great, I just didn't like the fit as much with the huskys

I’ve had both not much difference one one a 19 and now on 21 the Huskies may be a little longer

Mine don't have gaps next to the flares. Could have been a defect. You don't happen to have any pics do you?

I was unimpressed with the small design and high cost of stuff on the market. I went to a truck stop, bought a giant mud flap "blank" for a semi truck, I then cut out my own mud flaps the exact size and shape I wanted for my tire size and location. Got 2 per "blank". Custom. Not for everyone, but perfect match for my application and they look professional. I really like the heavy duty thickness, look, and bulletproof material.

I've used Weather tech on several vehicles over the years and was happy with them. That said I ordered a set of fender flairs for my new truck and was very disappointed with the quality and fit. Holes didn't line up and rubber striping isn't staying stuck as it should. No help from WT at all. It's sad how poor they have become. I won't use them again. Have never used the Husky brand so no comment on those.

I spent a little extra for these Rek Gens because I needed something that was easily adjustable, universal fit that was easy to install and have the custom look to go with the custom look of a Ram Minotaur. I only wanted for the front to protect the side and rear quarters from rocks flying up from the front tires. These are very well made and easy to install with no drilling at all. The cut pattern also matches the pattern of my grill inserts, sport hood inserts and the top of the rear bumper.
