The guy who had the truck before me put the mudflaps on like a moron, uneven and crooked. So I took the really bad one off to see how it looks. Should I keep them off or put them back on properly?

Those look cheap and out of place to me... Maybe go with Husky?

Here is a shot of them on my truck. Not the best shots but a bit more... molded?

I bought some Husky's for mine, but we'll see what they look like... I had some OEM on my Ford and loved them. Mines a DD in the Midwest though.

Ya those look great ! These weren't in factory holes or anything, just self tapped in random spots. Idk what this guy was thinking

Oh good lord pull those ugly things then and get some husky or weather tech. I obviously prefer husky but to each his own. I am pretty sure both use factory holes and make for a nice clean install/look.

I also need to find a way to fix/stop this rust before anything. Above the wheel and under where the mud flaps sat, small spots starting

Sand, etching primer, paint cure for a few weeks and then put on new mud flaps.

Ya, I'll have to sand pretty carefully. I have some touch up paint, just a small bottle with a brush

I'm also a vote for taking them off.

keep im mind that they do save your rocker panels and doors from stone chips..... if your worried about them wearing through the paint put some 3m tape behind them
