When I cut mine I used a sawzall. It was a pita. Than I switched to a grinder and it cut it like butter.

It's weird that the instructions say to take off the two 15mm bolts behind the muffler. I laid under there for a few minutes thinking wtf am I missing? Lol
I looked on YouTube and found an install video for Mufflex and he had the two brackets behind the muffler.
