So on the mufflex install sheet it says high temp silicone is recommended, have people not put this on and been okay? and how high temp do I need for it? I don't want to have to deal with exhaust leaks.

I used Permatex high temp copper and have had no problems.

I had issues with the muffler delete sliding off but not the 18 inch. I just got a $2 u-bolt style clamp from vato-zone and used that. Clamped it down good and never slid back off

Hardest part of install is removing the stock muffler, i used silicone cause i had some but i feel most of it just got pushed when sliding the pipes together, ive got no leaks that i can hear havent looked for signs of a leak, if i ever develop one ill just get some exhaust paste and seal it up from the outside, no issues with it sliding back with the provided clamp, impact is almost a most to fully tighten it

I just finished moving into my new house but I will use my 1/2" electric impact if I can dig around enough to find it. I will try the clamps that come with the system and report back with the outcome.

I installed mine without using the high temp silicone. I have access to air tools however in my garage, and was able to torque it down. No problems with exhaust leaks. The clamps that came with it worked fine. Take your time.

Thanks for the replies everyone, I'll give it a go with everything provided and if that doesn't work out I will pick up a new clamp and some silicone!

Put the muffler on tonight and couldn't get the joint at the front of the muffler to not leak. Ran to the parts store and grabbed a 3" exhaust clamp and all is good now. Sounds great!

Just to warn everyone that hasn't put a u clamp on yet be careful. The exhaust u clamps will dent the two pipes together and it will never come off without cutting it off. If you use the u clamp do not over tighten them or you'll regret it later. Just a word of advice from someone that has messed with it quite a bit I can't count the amount of times I've cussed those clamps. Glad to hear everyone is happy with the sound good luck.
