Thanks guys.

I know what you mean. I remember all of my dad's toys growing up. It's the reason I'm a gear head. Have some good memories runnin' around in those rides.

Hey cruiser, do you have hitch on your truck? If you do, is there a space between ur bumper and hitch now? If you havea rear shot, much appreciated. Truck looks awesome. Gotta be the third time i said it lol

It's great to see you and that beautiful truck be part of her life. She'll never forget that truck just like I never forgot my pops green 68 Pontiac Lemans (GOD rest his soul).

I have to agree with your statement. I still remember my dads 68 international travelall.

And I'm sorry for your loss Birddog.

Thanks again, lol. The middle bracket you get with Performance Accessories closes any gap. I don't have any pics of the rear. I'll try and get one soon.

The hitch is in the same place, but there's no gap cause of the center bumper bracket. The bracket closes any gap. I'll try and get a pic today between rain showers if possible.

Cruiser, could you post a picture of your exhaust tips, please??? I looked through the thread but didn't see them (I probably missed them). I will be having mine powder coated next week, and I want to see yours again. :)
Thanks a bunch!

Thank you. No, the kit includes everything you need to relocate bumpers, lift the spare tire crank, extension for ground wire, and brackets for brake distribution block. It's not hard, just time consuming. I would get another set of hands to help. Would have taken me 2 days without Tony helpin'.

The only thing I'm not really pleased with is my front Sport bumper. It gets kinds tight with their relocation brackets. I'm going to see if I can do something about it sometime soon.

I'll get some pics as soon as I can. Weather is crazy right now. Rain for the next millennium I think, lol.

Yeah, was on it about 12 hours, lol. Lunch break and smokin' a cig now and then. That was including swapping wheels and new brake pads though.

I think a good chunk of it was trying to make sense of the instructions. They're not really clear on what hardware goes where. There were even mistakes in the instructions. The pictures have no point of reference most the time. I even called Performance Accessories about the existing body bolts and talked to a smart ass on the phone that was no help. If I did it again I'd bet 2 guys could knock it out in around 6 - 7 hours.

One side at a time with a 4x4 3 ton floor jack. Loosen one side, pull the bolts on the other.

It was over having to reuse the retaining washers. They don't wanna come off the body bolts. So I got pissed and ground the threads down so I could pull the washers.

Thank you. Just angled it up for now. Trying to figure out how relocation might go. The bumper brackets kind of end up in the way of the dual exhaust cutouts on the Sport bumper. It works for now, may see about relocating them though.
