Man, I forgot how beautiful your truck is. One of my favorite trucks on the forum!

Thanks man! I need to bust out the Canon and get some new pics. The phone isn't the greatest and the sun was killin' me in these pics.

I need to do the same. I just wish there was some where I could go to get some good pics. Its either tobacco & soybeans or subdivisions around here.

Thank you. No, the kit includes everything you need to relocate bumpers, lift the spare tire crank, extension for ground wire, and brackets for brake distribution block. It's not hard, just time consuming. I would get another set of hands to help. Would have taken me 2 days without Tony helpin'.

The only thing I'm not really pleased with is my front Sport bumper. It gets kinds tight with their relocation brackets. I'm going to see if I can do something about it sometime soon.

I'll get some pics as soon as I can. Weather is crazy right now. Rain for the next millennium I think, lol.

I'm new to this site and new to the truck world (btw your truck is sick) but when you installed the body lift did you have to drop down the fan shrout? Anything else you had to do that wasn't included in the kit? Also how does it ride with the 5100's and the bl? I keep hearing people that say not to do a body lift. That the truck will ride like crap and whatnot. I need some insigh.

You just remove the lower fan shroud.

I don't know why anyone would say a body lift makes a truck ride like ****. It doesn't change the suspension at all. Ignorance maybe? The only way it changes the ride is by changing the center of gravity and any lift will do that. My truck rides great.

The only thing you will need are the tools if you go with a Performance Accessories body lift and a little touch up paint if you have a painted bumper. You have to get the bottom lip when you relocate, nothing major. I would add that a torch would be useful for getting the washer off the body bolts. You re-use those and they don't come off the old bolts the easiest.

Might want to grab the front gap guards for the wheel wells if you go with the 3" BL. You don't need any for the rear.

Oh, and about the 5100's, they stiffen the ride a little. But I think it makes it feel more like a 4x4 suspension than it did before. Like stated above, truck rides great.

That's good to know. I wanted to hear it from someone that had the same set up as the one I want. I'm going to start out with the 5100's and go from there.
Thanks for all the help man.

So the exhaust finally broke, lol.

Being the pipe had snapped I had to get it done quick. Went ahead and went with the house brand where I get my work done. Flowmaster 40 and had 3" pipe run from the cat back. Went with 3.5" slant black tips. She sounds like a beast now. Just one day and already turnin' heads, like she didn't already. :)

Waiting on my WeatherTech floor mats to get here. Hoping this weekend.

I don't know if I'll keep the 3.5" tips, I'd like 4" - 5". The body lift makes it difficult though because once you lift the bumper, the bumper mounts are half in the way of the Sport bumper exhaust cutouts. What brilliant engineer was that?

I'll get some pictures and maybe try and do an exhaust video if I can get some weather cooperation soon.

EDIT: Also deleted resonators.

Put the WeatherTechs in last week, just in time for a day at my buddy's range. Was muddy and I broke the mats in. Soon as it's not so cold I'll see how well they clean up. They fit great, look amazing, and feel very well made.

Still falling in love with the new exhaust. Can't wait to run around with the windows down so I can enjoy the sound.

Trying to find who has the good LED backup lights for my truck. I know they're CREE LEDs and directional, but I can't find them. The crappy one's I picked up last summer suck and I want more light back there. Anyone know who has these backup LEDs?

I hear you, i bought cree reverse bulbs but they point up and arent as bright as i would have liked, i want them pointing backwards out the lense. Diode dynamics has some good ones, you can search all kinds for our trucks. The real bright backup bulbs are out of stock but youll see what I mean.
I love my weathertech mats, still surviving since '09!

Didn't JJ used to stock those? I can't remember though. Think I'm going to get some LEDs for the interior too. The wife's Journey already had them and they look great.

I was debating on buyin' another pistol, but now I'm thinking about orderin' some new nerf bars. I just need to confirm if they'll fit with my 2500 flares.

He used to but not sure about now. I should clarify, the cree bulbs are super bright...but since they shoot the light straight up, only a fraction of the light emits out back and still brighter than stock bulbs. Different from a halogen that glows, then reflects. Just make to get a bulb that is an elbow shape so it points backwards to get maximum light output.
I have interior leds and they look great. I got them from jj or superbrightled, I cant remember but worth the few bucks they cost

I think he had the ones at the angle. Now I'm droolin' over these steps, lol. Just need to know they'll clear the fender flares.

So ordered LEDs for the interior and the side mounted LEDs for reverse lights. Debating on ordering the ICI Magnum RT steps.
