I have to say. The install of my iBoard aluminum running boards on my 2016 Sport was the simplest install I have ever done. My truck did have the nuts pre-installed, which made it simpler.
I watched a bunch of Youtube videos and read install tales from some of you guys. My install had very simple brackets. Much simpler then any I saw online. It only had 1 Driver side front bracket and 5 others that were the same. The plastic washer is ingenious for keeping the top bolt from falling into the truck frame.
Here are a few hints for the next guy doing the install.
HINT: Put the plastic washers on the bolts BEFORE you place them into the hole. Don't try to put them on AFTER (All the videos showed people putting them on after you install into the frame rail) you risk losing the bolt.
Just tighten the damn brackets when you install them. This keeping them loose until you finish the board install was wasted time.
HINT: Seperate all the hardware and put them into 6 little dixie cups. Set them next to each bracket along each side.
HINT: When putting the T bolts holding the board to the bracket. Start the nuts then work your way down. It keeps you from chasing them popping out of the brackets.
Start to finish 45 min... They seem very well made (time will tell) To be fair, I did use an air ratchet which greatly sped up the process. A cordless drill w/ the ability to use a socket would work just as well.
