I've seen a couple ppl put 37s on a level and fits but will rub some no doubt..mainly fits because tires are stuffed so much in the wheel wells so the bottom of the bumper is lower on tire so may not rub that much..plus 37s are stuffed like hell on just a leveling kit or 4" really and look ridiculous lol

Just talking to FastNugly, said a couple of guys wanted to se 37's on a leveled Ram, I have a Ready Lift, 2.5 inch billet spacers, tires are BFG 37 x 12.50 x 17 on American Racing ATX Atillery wheels with a -12 offset, I have mild rub at full lock left, there is a spot about 4 x 4 on the inner fender that sticks out, thats what I rub on, I can either cut it out or I also have a set of 1/4 inch hub centric spacers I could put in to eliminate the problem, here are a couple of pics, sorry, not trying to highjack your thread

That wiil have to wait till am, never had a need to actually show tire size as proof, I don't make it a habit of BS'ing, one question though, how do you get close enough to show tire size and still stay far enough back to show they are actually mounted??

That's a good question. I was just curious, not saying you aren't being truthful, just never heard of any brand of 1500 fitting 37's on a level.

This was my thinking, I had an 05 with 35's and just a level, my buddy had 37" mud terrains on his 03 with just a level, he too only had mild rub, the 12's wheel openings are definately larger so I thought what the hell, I have a buddy who is the parts manager at a Dodge dealer, they had a set of 37" AT's for half price, so I took them, I figured if they don't fit I'll just raise the truck, I put them on my new wheels and they fit, very minor rub at full lock left, by going -12 offset I also wound up with an overall change of 31mm since stock wheels are +31 offset, as far as gearing goes, I'll just put in a set of 3.92's which will pretty much restore my factory ratio with 3.55's

33" tire x (3.14pi) = 103.62" divide by 3.55 gr = 29.19" per drive shaft rotate

37" tire x (3.14pi) = 116.18" divide by 3.92 gr = 29.62" per drive shaft rotate

So I can live with getting beat off the line, with my bottom end, I'll just catch you further down the road, and I will also enjoy half decent fuel economy

Not sure what to say man, I did try to fit the wheels from my 05 on the 12 but they were hitting the upper control arm, I would have needed spacers, my 37's don't rub anywhere except that bump out on the plastic wheel well, the closest I come anywhere else is 3/4 to 1 inch

Offset plays a HUGE factor. Sometimes too far out will rub vs something closer (ie -12)
MT vs AT plays a factor too.
We're you rubbing a turn or just rubbing in general?

While turning, around 3/4 then full lock..the trimming helped. But oh yeah im sure If i did a 0 offset wheel I woulda been fine! But now with all my lift im good, so maybe I could do a 20x9 0 offset wheel and 37's :)...PX8 Ram good looking truck, thanks for the help!

The stupid thing is, the wheels from the 05 had less back space, but I didn't check the offset, that was probably the issue, 1/4 ich spacers would have cured it I think, but I wanted 37's anyway, I could probably try, a friend bought the 05, I'm sure he would lend me a wheel
