My DD/Project Truck

Bought an '03 SLT QC a few weeks ago. It is a little rough around the edges, but the price was right (translated CHEAP!). I had picked up a Sport bumper cover and reinforcement bar for my last tuck (horror story) that I kept and installed this weekend. I still have to order a few more parts to complete the swap, but here's a few pics.

I also removed the chrome/plastic bug shield, scuffed the grille shell and rattlebombed it satin black. The grille is in pretty sad shape. I have a brand new Sport grille to put on it (also from last truck), but it is white, so I am waiting to have it painted properly with the rest of the truck in springtime.

I am ordering a new bumper mount for the drivers side and a few fresh plastic pieces. The old mount is bent. I hammered it back to where I could use it, but I can't adjust the gaps properly as it is now.

Thanks. The whole truck does, but I plan to wait until springtime for that. Will probably scuff and shoot the bumper cover in the meantime, though.

Some progress.. Had to order a new d/s mounting bracket to get the bumper to line up. Still missing a few parts, but at least it lines up now. Also swapped on '10 wheels and big Goodyears.

Massive improvement! I'd get a pair of the black surround clear reflector lights from FleaBay and that front end will be looking GREAT!

Thanks! The headlights in it now are a second set that I picked up while I convert the originals to xenon/HID. I also have a few other ideas for them while they are apart..
