My New Wheels & Tires

Finally got my new(to me) wheels and tires mounted. Rebel wheels wrapped in Falken Wildpeak AT3 285/70-17. Don’t have many miles on them yet and haven’t been over 35mph, so I can’t speak of the ride quality yet but so far I love them.

Now I have to decide if I want to go with fender flares and if I do, do I do Black, to match the side steps & wheels or do I go paint match??

Looks good. I had some flares color matched to my truck but haven't had time to install them yet. Your truck could work either way....color matched or black. You have enough black accents that black flares would look good. Color matched will look even better imho.

Yes factory 2500 flares

Just careful with color matching as we know how red can be. A fully competent bodyshop will do the job correctly but sometimes it comes with a cost. Well worth it in my opinion though.

Meaning since you’ll be adding nib flares to a vehicle that is older they will need to ensure they “ blend “ so one red is not brighter then the other. It’s like when someone buys white things to go onto their white vehicle and it’s off slightly.

No problem I wasn’t aware of that either until I had an item painted and went to install it. It was a shade whiter then my truck so it stood out like a thumb lol..

Nice setup! I bought Bilstein 5100s, 20" X 10" RBP wheels with -12 offset and 295/60-20 Yokohama tires and hope to get everything installed during my next trip home.
