Ok I admit it I'm obsessing. I've been pondering a grille redesign for months. So here's what I'm planning to buy, I think it's a little nicer than stock and adds just a bit of a classier look without being TOO much for the eyes. All the other grille options I've looked at to dress up my front end just look WAY too "blingy" for me.

This is my stock grille for reference, they'll be going on it:

EDIT UPDATE:
I really like this one from Grillcraft. It's a replacement for the inserts, not an overlay and I've been reading good things about them.

I like the OEM grills. I don't like the chrome look. If it was me , I would paint the outer grill and front bumper the same color as your body . Again , just my opinion .

thanks, I'd like to clarify that I do prefer chrome so it's staying. Just looking for opinions on which of these inserts people prefer on that.

I'm not feeling those bolt over inserts. They look to autozoney for me.

lol you know how much they charge nowadays for those rivet style grilles like you like? lol around a G note (which cost them about 50 bucks to make) :naughty:

besides, they're way too "blingy" to wear on a mostly stock truck. I'm just looking for a subtle change.

Top one for your truck, well I prefer it.The second one would make your truck too blingy.I've actually been doing a lot of research on this also.I'm going to buy my mesh,e.t.c at customcargrills.com.Great selection.I'm thinking of cutting out the plastic honeycomb with a fine tool so you can't see it when i put the bolt on insert,I'm going to leave bits of it around the perimeter for mounting points. My truck has the color coded front, pearl cherry red,so I don't know which to go with chrome or the shiney powder coated black.Leanining towards the black.

Like the one on the bottom, would like to see the grille openings a little larger though.
