Either taking off slower wich I hate or I guess drag radials or better tires like the 420s or something like that... Those seem to hook pretty good for tylerb.... And maybe a higher shift point would help keeping it in first since mine shifts at 5600 or it'll hit the rev limiter

Tyler relocated his battery to under the bed which is a huge welp when it comes to weight transfer, and yes, the 420S are a pretty sticky street tire. Something else I have always done was removed my front swaybar. With the truck being lowered, body roll shouldnt be much of an issue, and this will also help with taking some weight off the front end and helping with the trucks weight transfer. I dont even run a front swaybar on my lifted Cummins, and its not too bad around the corners.

For racing purposed I can see removing a front sway bar, and certainly see the effectiveness of it, but I most certainly wouldn't recommend running around without it.

The 'awe ****' swerve without a front sway bar will be nasty, super nasty and uncontrolled.
Just keep that in mind. I think relocating the battery is a far better idea!

ive thought about relocating the battery i just havent had a chance to get under the truck and look where to put it since i dont really want to get rid of the spare just yet. the tires should help when i get them soon and the swaybar ive heard alot about saying that it does help with weight transfer but then others say itll feel crazy coming out of corners

My my lifted truck on 35's can handle corners without a swaybar, then your dropped 2wd will be fine. I have not run a front swaybar on any of my last 4 trucks, and I have yet to have any trouble. Hell, my last truck was an 07 with a 6" lift and 37's, and I didnt run a front swaybar on that one either. As long as you arent trying to drift around corners, you are perfectly fine without it. And it only takes 10 minutes to pull it off or put it back on, so its at least worth trying. If you dont like it, just put it back on...simple fix.

Wow! I can flat out romp the throttle and I don't get so much as a chirp.:roflsquared:

If I had higher shift points it would probably keep spinning since it only stops when it looses power going into second early
