My rather lame Build thread...01 Ram cummins..

Yeah, dont feel like typing much, im beat...but i was in an accident about a month ago when some doucher pulled out in front of me on the expressway, and i assraped him with my cummins...luckily, people aren't as stupid as i thought, and my insurance company, and the state police agreed he was in the wrong...even though i rearended him...

Anywho, trucks in the body shop currently getting a host of new goodies...

here's the list, or at least what quickly comes to mind...(its getting a bunch)

New 1pc headlights with morimoto Projectors from Retroshop

New 55w 5k Hid's for the projectors
New 35w 5K h3 Hid'S for the "outer" lights
New 55w 5k h3 Hid's FOR THE "inner" lights

32" morimoto Led light bar(will sit under the grille, in the recess above the winch)

New sport Grille(painted white)

Road rhino bumpers front and rear(both are being primed/sanded/smoothed/painted white for that "sport" look) my bodyshop guy is making a custom hinged plate up top to keep the winch covered..

Engo 16k pound winch front and 12k pound rear(dont wanna hear ******** about these winches, for the money, they CANNOT be beat, ive had every kinda winch out there, and will never buy another brand again besides Engo)

Dodge offroad longarm front AND rear 4link longarm kit, im doing his 7" kit, with coilovers front and rear
Dodge offroad steering box brace
Dodge offroad HD trackbar

Borgeson steering box and shaft

1ton crossover hi steer

39.5x13.5x17 Interco Irok rubber
moto metal 951 17s just to clear my 3rd gen brakes( i have 16 inch motos now)

Bout all i can think of, I may do a few more things, depends on my finances, ive already spent enough..

Heres a shot of the truck, and one of the bumper to get started, i need to get to the bodyshop tmrw and take more pics, also waiting on Danny from dodge offroad to get the lift kit finished up

Shes my mistress i guess (according to my fiance), just rolled 100k

Bumper shot i snapped on friday, this bumper was supposed to be bare steel...

Ill keep this updated with pics and progress...hope to have this thing done withinthe next week or two...right now were waiting on parts to show up...which always sucks!

Still alot left to go, but its getting there!

These are the wheels i purchased, should look good i think/hope haha..

Im still waiting on my headlight housing's, and my bank to get my debit/credit card figured out so i can place my order with jeremy over at retroshop...

Id also like to thank jeremy, he has been a HUGE help, and thats the reason why ive decided to spend my money with him! Good dude to deal with.

Haha, thanks for the compliments guys...i said it was a lame thread because most of the buildup threads are usually huge, with tons being done...

I never really documented the engine build or drivetrain build of my truck, so i figured id at least try to document the body/suspension buildup.

Im still a long ways to go, got the headlights today, still waiting on tons more stuff to show up...

Im also ripping the entire enterior apart here shortly, and putting more fatmat sound insulation down, and doing the firewall/roof this time, and going to redo the entire stereo system, the one currently in the truck is pretty badass, but as always, improvements can always be made..

Im also working currently on putting a 06+ steering wheel with working cruise/radio switches, along with the double din pioneer radio and SRT8 challenger seats with 2010+ center console setup..gonna be a LONG winter haha.

In the spring, im shooting for a low 10 second pass, mid 10s would probably make me happy though, im close now with low 11s, the power and potential is there..needs suspension and more tire to make anything more a possibility..

Dont really have much of an update, trying to let funds recover, and still waiting on some parts to arrive...

but here's how the truck sits currently...

headlights apart, and ready for jeremy's projectors and hid's from retro solutions...however, my order with him is like 2k worth of stuff, and after my account being hacked..im still dealing with trying to straighten that damn mess out before i can order that stuff

Here's some lame poser shot's from my wheelin triplast weekend...

some proof the cummins got muddy!!! haha, it was actually covered in mud, but the downpour back to the house to get the trailer hooked back up, and the jeep loaded up, basically washed the damn thing off ahha.

and here is exactly how she sits right now after i got the grille back from my painter..

Spoke with my suspension guy( danny gaston at DODGE OFF ROAD • Dodge Off Road - Ram 4x4 Forum Tech Info Upgrades Custom Lift Parts) he said hes about 2/3 weeks out from my suspension being done....

body shop is currently painting my custom tailgate( with cummins/dodge/4x4) painted, instead of decals

still a LONG way to go...ugh.

I added up receipts last night, and about fell over dead!!
