Loose Handling

Would bad rear leaf springs make get loose handling? Switched gear box in my 2007 dodge ram 2500.. whole front suspension parts are new, and still feels like i cant control my truck, Will be trying to go straight and makes me move as if im a drunk driver! Left and right, Hate how much money ive put into it and cant get it to drive properly, seems dangerous to drive on freeway over 50 mph

Yes, bad rear leaf springs could cause poor handling, but they'd have to be pretty bad to produce the issue you are describing.

Rear leafs being shot could cause excessive body roll in turns or the rear axle jumping too much when hitting a bump. That said, for it to do that they would have to be really bad, and those should be a distinctly different feeling than a steering issue. Do you have side to side play in the steering wheel before the wheels actually turn? Heavy steering or hard to turn?

Have you checked the intermediate shaft on your steering? Runs from steering wheel to steering box. There are a lot of joints on them, if they have slop, it makes the PU wander. I put a Borgerson shaft into my 1996 Ram 2500.. Made a huge difference. Just make damn sure you get it ALL THE WAY on and the set screws tightened up with Locktite on them.
