I really couldn't say because I am not familiar with that year model. There are alot of guys on here that could answer your question though and I will try to find the answer.

I do know that no flash is required in the 2009-2012 Rams.

Sorry, my understanding is that this will not work in your 2007.

Does this support direct ipod capabilities? Or do I still need uConnect?

There is a USB port on the front of the radio. I don't know if there is an additional port on the back for the glove box connection. You would need to have uconnect to have voice control though.

You can access your Ipod directly through the USB port.
