I have a 2022 ram 1500 trying to add an aftermarket brake controller. The dealership tells me that there’s a fuse that needs to be put in before there will be power to that device. Does anybody know what fuse that is and where it is?

Unless something changed from 2021, you shouldn't need one. I put a Tekonsha Voyager in mine, didn't have to do anything aside from unbundling the harness from under the dash and plugging in the harness from Tekonsha. I verified that there was power available at the 4-pin harness first.

On my '19 it was the same way. I installed a P3 and all I did was buy the correct wiring harness. Total plug and play, no additional fuse needed. Definitely buy the correct harness, is so much easier than cutting and splicing.

BTW, I still have my Tekonsha P3 with harness for sale if you're interested.
