There are so many different opinions on tires and the opinions on the same tire can very from suck to best ever. I had the ridge grapplers... loved them at first but by 10,000 miles I was ready to move on! I currently have the BFG KO2 and in MHO they are hands down better than the Ridge Grapplers even when I like the Grappler. So far I’d recommend the BFG KO2. Blah blah blah... look at reviews on the tire sites ... tire buyer... tire rack... I also stopped people in person when I was out and about... and the KO2 was the only tire I got no bad responses about in person questioning. At the end of the day it’s what tire works for you and makes you happy.

I'm with you on the KO2's. I run them on my Ram 1500 and Grand Cherokee. They provide good traction in all weather conditions. I have used BF All Terrain exclusively for over 30 years.
When I saw they used that tire in the Baha races they had me sold.

So I had KO2’s on mine. Loved everything about them except for the traction on wet rainy roads. As they wore it got worse. At times the ass pucker factor was annoying it got that loose.

I put Yokohama geolander a/ts on my 2015 Ram 4x4. They are 285x65x20. They fit nice , look great and were priced good on Tire rack.

I agree with this guy!! They look great and do fine on dry roads, but many they can break loose too easy on wet roads and snow. I'm not quite work down 1/2 way on them and they are making some noise and I can feel then in the steering wheel. I thought it was a wheel bearing starting to go bad and tore my truck apart and checked the bearing with a mechanics stethoscope and it's definitely not the bearings. I rotate the tires and it changed, so it's definitely the tires. Most of the time the tires are fine, but for the $, I don't think I'll be buying another set. I put Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S on my Durango and have no complaints about them at all.

I have been happy with my Cooper AT3 4S. Do well in all weather conditions. I did loose approx 2 mpg vs the stock goodyears.

ditto here, and noisy compared to the stock Goodyear’s

Headers? Easy, none! For a stock truck the cost and aggravation aren't with it.

My experience with headers has been they create other problems and for a stock motor are a waste. Pain in the ass to install, often block access to other components, leaks etc... If your manifolds need to be replaced then it may be worth considering but otherwise probably a waste of money and time in my opinion. Take it for what it's worth, free advice is only worth what you paid for it lol!

I'm in the same boat at the OP.

Going to level my 2017 up 2" in the front and I'd like more aggressive tires. From what I've read, 33x12.5 will fit just fine as it's basically just a little wider than stock, and 35x12.5 will barely fit with just a little rubbing possibly. I'm dithering between those two sizes.

Question:
Will offset rims (-19mm) help or hurt with the ability to fit 35's?

Hurt. But can be achieved easily with the right leveling kit

I had installed Mastercraft CXT on my 2017 RAM Dually, very impressed with them so far. I have had good success running Mastercraft tire for the last 180,000mi on my Dually.

I love my Ridge Grapplers!
My old Ram was a 2015 1500 leveled & I was able to fit 35's.

Before & after I changed my wheels.

Before my lift I ran Nitto Terra Grappler G2s in 275/65r20 on my OEM 20x8 +19 for ~15k miles. I went with the SL/4ply tires for weight savings, I wasn't offroading the truck, and I got a warranty with the tires. Overall they were good tires, they looked great/more aggressive, were quiet on the road, and negligible mpg impact. I did have to be cognizant of how I was applying throttle on wet roads as they'd break loose quite easily, but definitely manageable.

After my 6" lift I went with Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws in 35x12.5r17 on Method 17x8 +0. Went with these due to being one of the taller 35" tires, but they are good bet heavier than most. Tires fit w/ no rubbing. I really like these so far and they typically receive good reviews. No complaints as of yet, but only have ~2k miles on them.

I use Firestone RAM takeoff tires for $200 a set of four new 275-70-18 , 8ply truck tires they last for 50,000 and many ram owners remove them and sell them I have 350,000 miles so that's about 7-8 sets so far average MPG 25 MPG freeway. No flats, nails, etc. Wear great, quite, smooth.
