1st pic is overheated temporary fix.
2nd pic is coming from.
3rd pic is what I think goes to not sure inside firewall. Truck shifts hard. High idle. Truck wants to take off and drive itself
Please help identify and advise on the cheapest fix. Please!

you have a major vacuum leak and the truck is trying to compensate.. fix that and it should be back to normal. Tape is not going to fix the issue

Yes sir, i know. It was sold to me with this temporary fix. How can I fix? What is the electrical box the connected end called. And where do I connect.... Assuming behind the dash?

For the black plastic line that is melted through you can cut the bad section out and slide a rubber hose over each end to complete the connection.
