I have a 2008 Ram Hemi, and for some reason, out of the blue, the heat does not work from the floor. It works from the vents and defrost, but does not blow out from the floor.

I do not want to take it to the dealer, for obvious reasons.

Anyone else have any similar problems or solutions?

Thanks.

Sounds like the recirculating door. Mine broke all of a sudden too right in the middle of winter LOL Luckily I had a month of warranty left.

You can drop the blower motor and see if there are pieces of the recirc door in it.

late response....mine does the same thing...no floor heat...although the thing that throws me for a loop is it WORKS in the summer...but when it gets cold, stops working.

I have a 2007 Ram Hemi with the same problem im still
trying to figure it out I was told by a friend who had the same problem there was a recall on that but I have not found a recall on it, he also said it was the door and they had to pull half the dash out to fix it:banghead:

I took it to the dealer since it was still under warranty, and luckily they covered it. But it was quite a job, they did have to take the dash out and replace the entire system. But like I said, I was very lucky because it was still under warranty.
