Need Help with Driver Door Module Compatibility – 2021 RAM 1500 5.7

Hey everyone,

My 2021 RAM 1500 5.7 is throwing code B18BA-12 and the driver window won’t go up. I hear the motor trying when lowering, but it’s already down.

I pulled the door panel and found the module part number: 68517699AA — likely needs replacing. The issue is, I’m in Bulgaria, Europe, and RockAuto is my only fast shipping option, but they don’t stock this specific part.

They do have other part numbers like 68225103AD, and the service manual lists 68424179AA. Will any of these work as a replacement for 68517699AA, or does it need to be an exact match?

Just to verify that your truck is a Gen5 truck, does the wheels have 6 lug nuts?
Any parts listed for a "Classic" Ram truck will not work with the Gen5 trucks.
A different part number may not have the same features available, with the exception if the last two letters of the part number changes. The part number your looking for ends in "AA", if the numbers are the same and the letters are "AB", "AC", etc that designates a part revision and if a comparable replacement.
It's a holiday here in the states but if you PM @AllMoparParts.com your VIN number along with what you're looking for, he can usually look up the correct part numbers available for your truck.

Yes the wheels have 6 lug nuts. It is the new DT style truck.
