Need help with rear diff sensor

i have a 2007 ram 1500 4x4 and my rear diff bit the bullet so I went the cheap route and bought a whole new diff from a 2008. When I pulled the diff out to swap them I had them side by side and noticed the new one does not have a sensor in the middle of it. Instead it has 2 holes on each end for sensors that I do not have the wires for. With out this sensor my speedo will not work. What can I do to resolve this

Adapt the old sensor to the new rear end.

Or

The new rear end has speed sensors, just that they do not match-up with the current electrical connection?
Make a harness to adapt it?

Just throwing stuff out there.
