k i know I'm an idiot and they should be plug and play but wtf!!! i don't get it! :shooter: :shooter:

I wired it all up how i think it should be but it doesn't work...

zBEwf.png what do these little douchers plug into???

YRAcW.png
and somethings got to plug into that right??

I have the splitter running from the plug in where all the bulbs normally go in, and then i have the splitter running to the one bulb, and then i have the wires that plug into the projector running to the other side of the splitter.

It feels like the white thing should plug into the other side of the splitter shouldn't it??? but it doesn't fit.

I was told those 2 prongs thing i posted earlier should go to what ever comes out of the projector as their for opening the little flap in the projector?? but those also don't fit! wtf!!

Someone please help :killer:

In the first picture you have a blue and black wire that have the metal tips on the end.... Your kit should have came with a female (Black plastic) plug. It should just be thrown in wwith the kit.

you need to put the little Orange fillers on them wires (for protection) and you need to put them inside that added black plug. That i talked about above.

Then you need to plug the white plug (stock plug) in your hand into where you are going to put the blue and black wire into the female (added black plug)

Does that make any sense?

So the blue and black don't fit into the little black cap thing.... and i only have one cap thing so how would i do that for the other side??

or would i only need to do it on one side? but either way, they don't fit???!

They on;y work one way. as you can see there are teeth on the end of them. you put them on the circle holes on the bottom and when you insert the teeth (I believe you have to have the teeth facing inside) they should lock in place.

Your kit should have come with 2 plugs..... Sure you didn't overlook one?

lol.......

Alrighty! Class is in session. ;)

The "normal" setup is a H11 bulb - which would come with the right plugs, all that jazz. As the retro requires a H1 bulb..........those goofy spades are the "standard" for those. So....that plug you posted, I always send those with a retro kit. That way, you can remove that entire plug with the spades (driver's side only) and run the 2 skinny spades into to the grommet, then put the end on it - black wire from factory goes to black wire on that connector.

The black/red wires from the projector - those get the end put on them (the one that was in the box with the projectors themselves). Then that plugs right into the extension that you installed earlier. ;)

Okay so what I'm getting is i won't be using those spade looking weird things i posted a picture of earlier. i remove them from the little rubber plug that goes in the hole you drill through the plastic cap, and then i put that extra wire i posted earlier through the little holes from where the weird looking guys were, and put the cap on that, then that plugs into the projector???

Put then what plugs into the white thing! and then what do i do with the plug in from the new thing i put in therE?? and then what does the plug in from the HIDs plug into!!

Close. That plugs into the white H11 plug inside the light.

Remember a few days ago you posted up a pic of the high beam wiring? The plug from the high beam extension goes to the projector. (to activate the highs)

See ^^

The plug that you are working with is basically going to give you a quick disconnect. That plug goes to the end from the capacitor link on the harness.

looks good, but hard to tell with it being so close. best to be about 25 ft away for a good look at the aim.

You really need to be about 20+ feet away from a wall so you can adjust them correctly buddy.

I meant to have retroshop HIDs for the title to btw haha whoops!

but okay im having another problem

the driver side headlight goes out intermittently!

it didnt work this morning

came back couple hours later it was working (yey!)
then i went home made sure all connections (Besides barrel plugs to bulb) had Dielectric grease and werent corroded! even but some on the relay, checked all the grounds to be sure, made sure ballast was right side up. all good!

came back a couple more hours later and they werent working (boo!)

gave up a little, did some stuff inside for 10 minutes, then before i hit the hay, decide to see if they work once more... hit the unlock button from the house and they work! what!?

Are my HIDs possessed?
