Haven't been on the forums in a while. Just bought a new truck. 2008 Laramie Megacab with the 6.7 cummins on a 10" lift. I am looking for some HIDS to run in these housings : 06 08 Dodge RAM Clear Crystal Headlights No Amber Bar | eBay
Pretty sure they are the exact same as stock, except these don't have the amber reflector. I know there are HIDs that are hundreds of dollars that last a lifetime, but I'm on a tighter budget and am looking for some quality "eBay specials". I always hear about guys getting fairly cheap HIDs from eBay that last a year or two. That's all I need. I am asking if any of yall have any experience with them because I have heard a few horror stories about HIDs and my generation Ram. Apparently they can cause "electrical issues"? Anyone bought any HIDs for a late model 3rd gen and had em in for a while and are happy with the purchase? Thanks!
