How are you blending the words into the pici can't figure that out ?

Yeah I am trying to get them in order they were posted.


I am changing the layer attributes to blend them into the background. Also the best thing is layers. If changing or adding something to image, add a layer. Most of the sigs I make are around 5 different layers.

ok but are you making the words in that program or somewhere else and importing them. I am glad i found this forum, it is getting me back into graphic design, but also conversating with people again. Its kind of the crutch that becomes your life when your medically retired and told you can never work again. You sort of freeze up and recoil into your house.

I use this for my fonts, Font Image Generator - Create images from text sometimes I add a texture to them as well. I also have photoshop and use a thing that does a 3d text sort of thing, I haven't messed with it very much.

when you do my name any chance you can find a font like my avatar pic. We have a club here and everything is done in that font, but i have no clue what its called, my vp handels all of that.

Thats how I learned. Google "GIMP Tutorials" this will help in learning the tools. Also I think Johnnysart has posted some video here of him doing some chops to show the process

I am working with text now to figure out the import and slide it in with something way cooler. and then ill clean up the truck lines, but this was my first attemp, ill tell you guys i have a lot of respect for you now that im fooling with this mess. This is kinda hard at first.
