Should I look into getting headers? Hiflow cat? throttle body spacer? Put new gears in? Should I chip it? any cheap chips for small boost? Just wanting more horsepower/torque, get-up-and go type of deal. Got this truck about 3 months ago and its been my love ever since.

If I get better gears, would I have to change out anything? transmission? drive shaft?

Just gears..both if its 4wd. Take it to someone qualified though. Check out moes performance(vendor on here) for gears, tuner and such. Good prices amazing service.dont get a tb spacer. Junk. You can do a cat delete... very high flow ;) lol it all depends on your budget.

Moes for your parts. you can do non foulers w/ 0000 steel wood or have a custom tune done (the latter means getting a programmer that does custom tunes = more modding $$)

What I've heard it's some guys claim better mpg. But in reality it really isn't affected much. Hey pumpkin where does the steel wool go? I've watched videos and read but only have heard it mentioned but not explained what the steel is for.

I have the flowmaster 40, dual out. and no resonators. But got my cat off and did the non fouler trick, I had to cut into the heat shield to make it fit, but I threw a code, added another fouler, code went away. 100 miles still good. Sounds great.
