I'm the proud owner of my 1st new vehicle----2013 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 Quad Cab! I will confess that I am a totally newbie for all things vehicle related, but, am hoping to start learning more about how to do things myself. The truck has the 5.7 V8 Hemi and is the "Express" model. I'm been lurking on the board since last Friday when I bought my truck and took it upon myself to do my first mod.
I debadged the dealer advertising sticker on the tailgate as well as the "Ram 1500" badges on both sides (still deciding whether to take the Hemi badges off.) I used the fishing line method and "goo gone". Took right at an hour and I am very pleased with the results----did not mess up the paint in any way.
I also placed an order for the following from autoanything.com this morning:
WeatherTech Extreme Duty Digital Fit floor liners (front and back)
AVS Bugflector II (smoke)
AVS In-channel Vent Visors (smoke)
Once I put a little money back...I'm looking at cold air intake and different exhaust.
Feel free to say hello and offer your thoughts to a newbie. Looking forward to making it "my own" and am thankful I've found this forum.
