New 2024 Ram 1500 Love It

Hi All,
I just joined the forum, now that I bought a new 1500 Laramie.
I was in the market for a Tacoma Hybrid Sport for some time but got tired of not finding the truck in the color I wanted, let alone the hybrid with the premium package. The prices for the Taco Sport with premium package are now up to 58K!!! The Pro costs at least 65K and there's no space in the crew cap (unless you have prosthetic legs).
There came a breaking point....and I reached it.
I decided to get one of the last Hemi's with the 6'4" bed in ivory white. The sticker was 79.3K, out the door 62.5K. That's only $4500 more than the Taco Sport!!! I would have loved to get the truck in Flame Red with the Midnight package, but the ivory white looks good too. I love the split tailgate; it brings me so much closer to the loading area. When I got my 23 Limited last Fall they had only black and white colors. I’m one of those guys who loves black on anything and it was my first choice. But at the last minute I changed to a White one (even though there was a price for the tri-coat paint) and have not regretted it. It stays looking clean much longer. A little dust is almost invisible on it and these things aren’t exactly easy to hand wash like I do.


I like the split tailgate, wish mine had that.

Thanks, I ordered the cap in the matching color. Unfortunately, it will take 6-9 weeks to get it. I am looking for an organizer for the truck bed. So far this is the best solution I have found: at $50 shipped.

I can use it to keep things from sliding around in the truck bed and easily move it if I need to increase the spaceif required or remove it without needing tools or much storage space. Does anyone have other solutions?

Congrats on the new truck. You can do a lot with aftermarket on white plus it’s cool in summer. The 6’4” bed is so handy!

Yeah,with the tailgate out and the canopy door overhead will make for a nice place to sit and watch between match relays. Just nice to have all that space.

Nice looking truck! I think white is the best color if you’re getting the blackout package. My previous truck, a 2004 Ford Ranger, was white and it did look good and almost never showed any dirt. Enjoy your Ram.
