New bumper

Well its been a wait and a half it feels, but finally got my truck fixed and back together. So happy I decided to go with the Bodyguard over another sport bumper. I feel this is a stand out mod i always wanted for my truck! Pics dont really show it well but all the inserts were painted to match as well.

Looks nice! Congratulations!! Were there any issues with it when you got it? Is the steel pretty thick? I want to do a steel front bumper because of all the genius drivers that I deal with every day, but I keep hearing about thin steel, poor paint jobs, and poor quality products. So I haven’t but the bullet yet.

From my knowledge bodyguard is one of the highest quality bumpers. Welds look good, powdercoat is flawless, heavy duty but not overkill. I went the steel route because the father in law backed into my with his suv and it took out my bumper/fender/headlight. I wasnt having that happen again

you get one for the back of the truck. or saving for that because i know its bucks. the front one is clean looking and rock hard looking

This is the low profile one from BG, i dont beleive it sticks out any farther than the factory one did

Love it. It’s one of my favorite aftermarket bumpers due to how clean the lines are and it’s a perfect profile for the 4th gen!

I think the only thing I’d do is get black bolts for all the inserts (match the bumper itself).

Huge upgrade over stock sport bumper imo.

Don’t paint it, powder coat it instead. It would be much more durable.
