hello from long island ny.

not really a fan of long island because everything thats fun is illegal. wont get into that now though lol

26 yrs old. work as a grounds keeper for the local school district i grew up in. always been into cars, had a beast of a 96 cobra(my d/d), had motor issues so it has been pulled and is being slowly rebuilt. needed a new d/d so i bought a 99 ram sport.

pretty much bought it how it sits now. had a powerdyne supercharger( which i rebuilt cause it didnt work when i bought it) 35 inch tires, skyjacker lift(not sure how much of a lift) msd 6al ignition, i was told upgraded injectors, had a brand new bedliner. took it home with 106k on the clock

i consider myself to be pretty mechanically inclined. love working on cars/trucks/machines. since i bought this truck all thats gone wrong has been a bad ujoint, new t-stat, and power steering box was leaking like hell. oh and cant forget i cracked a piston one week after i rebuilt the powerdyne, drove it like that for a couple of weeks thinking it was just worn piston rings until i blew the transmission( i believe it was due to a damn clogged check valve that i learned about after it was too late)

found a deal for a rebuilt engine(5.9) and trans with 3k miles since rebuilds, paid 1300 for both.
installed, scraped the old stuff, did a full tune up, and the truck runs like a champ. but leaving the powerdyne off until i can tune it right.

oh forgot to mention. after i rebuilt the s/c, it pushed about 6-7 psi until the serpentine belt started to slip. id tighten it, but it just stretched and stretched and i didnt have a chance to find the right size gatorback belt, then the engine damage occured. even with the belt slipping it was a BEAST. i was keeping up with a friends big block chevelle.

enough talking. here are some pics.
