Here it is, 96k miles from estate of original owner. The 4.7 is really doggy though. Just finished putting a rear bumper on it.

Welcome! I had a 2003 2500 SLT long bed quad cab with the 5.7. Great truck and ran it for 16 years until it was sold to make way for a brand new 2018 2500. Only replaced front bearing hubs, and 3 header bolts which are notorious for breaking and tough to figure which are broken. Good luck.

Nice find with that low mileage! The 4.7 can be a bit slow, but it’ll get the job done. Glad to hear you got the bumper on—hope it drives smooth!

May want to change the plugs. The 4.7 likes new plugs. OEM spec only. If I remember correctly there are two different plugs or maybe the change interval is different. At least they were on the Jeeps with the 4.7. On the Jeeps with the 4.7 they were flex fuel vehicles. E85 will wake up the 4.7 at the expense of gas mileage. Nice looking truck.

Welcome from a fellow new member! Mine's a 1987 that used to be my Dad's, and only has 99k miles on it.

I second the new plugs suggestion.
