So as the title says I'm new and live in a suburb of Nashville, TN. I found the forum with my Google-foo. I recently traded in my 2013 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman for a 2014 Ram 2500 Bighorn with diesel because although the 1500 would tow my 34' travel trailer it certainly didn't do it safely.
This is my first diesel and I admit that I have zero knowledge of the intricacies of them. I shied away from them last year when I bought my 1500, (followed by the travel trailer), because of diesel prices and no information of mileage while NOT towing. That was a costly mistake looking back in the 20/20 of hindsight.
Anyway, the new truck gets better mileage than the 1500 did, but I'd still like to know what I can do to the truck to get "real world" better mileage than the marketing stuff you see online.
Any suggestions?
