I have a 2018 Quad cab Big Horn 1500 that I purchased 3-17-2018. 5.7L 3.21 gears 4wd. Love the truck so far. Only has 7083 miles on it. Not my first Ram though...Had a 2007 1500 that I bought new in 2007, and had a used '88 W-150 for a few years after selling the '07 due to divorce. Prior to those I had a new 2001 Dakota 318 V8 4wd.
I bought my '18 to pull a small trailer...6x10 enclosed aluminium V-nose trailer used to mainly tow my track bike to and from Mid Ohio along with the occasional trips to TN and MI with a bike or two. All sport bikes.
Ive been less than impressed with the mpg while towing, which is why I flirted with getting a new F-150, along with a few other reasons. Ultimately though I decided against it, as I really do like the Ram. I felt that I was giving up too much going into a F-150 that I could afford. Either the Ford's are way overpriced, or the Ram's are too cheap.....not sure which!
Anyways, I look forward to learning about all the possibilities with the Ram.
