I think its funny that in my 03 everyone removed the honey comb and added the slats like the first picture. Now everyone is removing the slats and adding honeycomb.


I think they both look nice.

I think these trucks look so much better with blacked out inserts. Looks great.

I blacked out my slats and it looked a ton better. I might go to the honeycomb depending out light output when I hide some LED's behind there.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I prefer the slats but it's all about personal preference and making the truck 'your own'.

Nice! I did the same thing. I much prefer the honeycomb as it suits the openings in the hood better.

Where did you get inserts? Everywhere I look the entire grille comes with it, which I think is unnecessary.

I have seen inserts on ebay from time to time, about $120. I think mopar stores online run $150. Have to look for your particular model year.

Does that come with JUST the inserts, or the whole grille section? I have stripes on my grille frame, and don't wanna have to re-add them with an entire replacement.

The inserts pop out fom what everyone says, so I don't see why I cant just take the chrome sport slats out, and pop in a honeycomb insert.
