So, I'll be hanging out here now instead of Jeep forum. A deer committed vehicular suicide which also caused the demise of my 08 Grand which I've replaced with an 18 Big Horn.

A couple questions to start off with as I browse:

Is a catch can still a 'requirement' on the newer Hemi? I kept the Billet Technology can from my Jeep and could get it mounted up if the pcv still sucks...

Exhaust. Are the cheap 'total flow' direct fit mufflers any good? Do they hold up? I see mufflex was once a popular name, now I see carven. Flowmaster and Magnaflow also have offerings I've looked at.

Magnaflow cat-back with 5” tips ... Not annoyingfor neighbors and wives, but it sounds like a truck with a Hemi when gravity puts pressure on your right foot

By all means hook up the catch can!!

I had a mufflex 18 on my 17 bighorn and it was great. Not too loud till smashing the loud pedal. During my ownership I bought a Borla pro xs from Nick at GotExhaust. Never put it on, languished in the garage.
After trading for my 19 classic the garbage can oem muffler got replaced with the Borla at around 6-700 miles on the odometer along with the 5" tips off the 17
It is a great muffler, little drone at cruise but sounds just BADASS on WOT.
Couple with a Vararam, pedal commander, Diablosport 91 canned tune, ( for the moment) and its a hoot when needed yet docile for my everyday work ride!

Ok, so I went out and installed the catch can. Really just needed confirmation that it was worth doing. I might trim the engine cover and reinstall it later, but for now it's gone.

My Hemi Jeep had a Gibson catback that was about right for volume level, I want to keep this thing rather mild as well but better than stock. Loud is tempting, but that's what the Harley is for.

Here it is the day I brought it home 10 days ago and a peek from today with all the badges gone, windows and rear lenses tinted, a proper wax, and a sprinkling of required interior and signal LEDs.

IF U in PA, Pittsburgh area, with road salt and junk, U may want to consider fluid film undercoat every year, just a suggestion.

Exhaust, kinda depends, at least go to 5" tips, which is all I am doing to mine when I quit paying things like taxes, vet bills now, LOL. That time of year.

Keep the MX up, enjoy and drive it. OH, IF U got them ahem, OEM Goodyears, and U in snow country, U may want to consider some LTX, Falken AT3 Wildpeaks, Coopers AT 3's.

All above IMHO.......
