Hey guys and gals, I'm new to the Dodge world/forum. I have a 77 Ford F100 that had been my daily driver so I always hung out on the FTE forum, but I recently purchased a 99 2wd Ram 1500 with a 3.9 V6 and I love it. I'll post pics soon.
I tried doing a search but didn't come up with anything. Now to my question, my brakes make an aweful squeal when pulling to a stop sign or red light. I'm looking to replace the front pads this weekend but when I checked out Autozone's website it has two kinds listed, "L type piston clip" and "2 prong piston clip" does it matter which ones I get? I don't want to take everything apart just to see which I have then go buy them, I'd like to know ahead of time. Is there is a way to tell which I need if it even matters.
Thanks for any help on this ya'll can provide.
