Ask them exactly where they got that motor. Shame thety are going to keep the old for a core charge, could bring that back home and set it aside to build a nice stroker. Get all the info on the newer motor they put in it and check for oil leeaks and make sure its stays full of oil. Also check the radiator to make sure they burped all the air out of the system. Swapping motors in these trucks aint to bad and shouldnt take that shop more then 8hrs from start to finish. The hardest part is if your a 4X4 because of the BS bar that runs from the trans to the motor to the front diff that holds everything.

I plan on going over with a fine tooth comb and probably have my buddy check it out real good also. I gotta kind of take their word on this one. I haven't find out the name of the place they are getting the motor. They said they have done business with them before and have had real good luck. I plan on putting it through the paces while it is under warranty to make sure its going to run for a while.

Got the truck back tonight. Havn't had a chance to look under the hood yet, to dark, but she runs good and sounds good. Fuel mileage seems a little better as well.

What are you guys running for fuel system cleaner? I have read about the Sea Foam treatment but a little leary about putting it in the brake booster line. Any suggestions? If Sea Foam is the best then that it what I will do.
