Convert, for now.
Engine
small
Things are going to be heavy with all those batteries...at least companies are prepared to haul them in for recalls and roadside assistance.

I wonder if that 1000hp and 11,500ftlbs is like the Tesla’s “insane” and “ludicrous” modes where the battery lasts a few track passes instead of 300mi normally.

Last time I was at Road Atlanta, there was a Tesla there. It was fast for 3-4 laps then had to go in to recharge. It was all I could do to keep up with him in my M3 but he ran out of juice long before I even used 5 gallons of gas.

How far could this truck tow a loaded horse trailer up a steep 6,000 feet increase of mountain grade in subzero to 4 degree Fahrenheit temperatures with snow on the road?
^^^ exactly
You don't even have to go to those extremes, just hook a trailer behind one of the EV vehicles and the range is dramatically reduced to the point of impracticality.

I can see EV trucks going gas/diesel over electric much like a train. The other technical probably would be a hydrogen powered, all the benefits of an electric drivetrain with no emissions.

I'm excited to see what this ends up being. I'm a Hummer guy, for sure. I'm even intrigued about it being an EV.

I expect it will be really expensive though, which is a bummer.

The HX was bad ass. I wish that went into production. This won't be the HX though - perhaps using them as mules or something.
