That is a very nice and clean install. How does it sound? What was tuning like with the DSP? Did you measure with an RTA or does the DSP help with that?

Thanks guys, John did a quick setup Saturday, he did the RTA today, spent about 2-3 hours on it. Man the stage is right there in the center! Amazing the depth with just the front doors. For a simple system, 6.75" in door, 30mm in dash, 10" sub it's amazing.
Thanks all for the kind words, our installers have talent, and nothing over the top, just nice, simple clean install.
Truck in bay this morning.

When john was making changes with the DSP while playing, you could hear the changes taking place without even getting out of the drivers seat. He played with the "advanced" settings, and we first klilled the sub amp and tuned the 500.4 on the components. Then brought in the sub.

Very nice. Clean as hell... Any screenshots of the built in DSP by any chance?

I didnt get pics of snapshot from today, I was in meetings all day while they were playing with it :(

Nice sub, I would be very curious how it sounds. If that sub is transparent or not, reading the specs it looked nice for someone that wanted a sub that handles power and sounds good doing it.

Yup, the motor on it is far different than any other sub we have done prior.
I could have done the 1000.1, but didnt want to overkill the sub end as it's a small cabin already.

I hear ya on that, I continually adjust my remote gain on my 1200.1 so it doesn't kill bass but man the head room is nice when I do feel my spl side coming out lol.

Alright.....sorry in advanced....but I just cannot hold back!

<rant>
You cannot mount that control knob in plain sight like that after an install that is perfect! The control knob mount anyone can do, give that thing some love!
</rant>

Is your company going to do any further videos on installing and or tuning the IQ Series other than what was put out in promo? I was really hoping you were going to give us a play by play on this.

haha I hear ya, I plan to do soemthing more custom, but finding a spot flat for a gain that big will take some time, but yes, on my list to do. No rant taken, love real opinions. :)

yes they will do more in depth videos, I will let the team know we'd like more actual 'in car' demo and tuning. Great idea!
